Hello and welcome. I'm Thomas Signorello. I'm a Personal Development and Networking Coach and Mentor. I have built a successful business through effective Networking methods, both Online and Off. My area of focus in helping people, specifically showing others how to grow their Net-Worth, along with their Network and Businesses via Social Media.
My story starts out as a happy child in the suburbs of New Jersey. Always and outdoors and athletic kid, I excelled in Baseball and Sports. On Sunday, July 30th, 1973 ... my world as I knew it changed forever. My mother and father had a disagreement that midday. Mom asked me if I wanted to go with her for lunch and get out of the house. I was always closer to my mother than my father, so naturally I agreed. My Dad forbid me from going. She went upstairs to change, came down shortly thereafter, walked out the front door only twelve feet away from me without saying goodbye. Ten hours later, the New Jersey State Troopers came to our door in the middle of the night to inform us that my mother had perished in a single car accident, falling asleep at the wheel and losing her life instantly. I would never have the chance to say goodbye to the first woman I ever loved.
Because I was always an emotional child, it bothered my father that I was that way. "Real men don't cry or express emotions" was his mantra. He demanded that I prove to my mother at thirteen that I was man enough to handle this tragedy and not shed a tear through the funeral all the way to her burial in Ireland (where she was born and wanted to return in the event of something happening). Little did I know that in doing so, I locked up all of those feelings inside ... making it virtually impossible to have real relationships with others for fear that I would lose them similarly to losing my mother.
In 1988, after struggling in a three year relationship with a woman whom I wanted to marry, I finally realized that I couldn't handle things on my own. I sought out a professional councilor to assist me in healing. She quickly determined that the issues I had been dealing with for a decade and a half was around grief and abandonment. She recommended extensive therapy once a week for almost a year to over come my challenges. One of my goals was to get on a plane and fly to Ireland and visit my mother's grave site and do my crying.
I made the 6,000 mile trip from Los Angeles, CA where I was living to Clonmel, Ireland to let my tears flow. I made it 3 miles away from the cemetery and had to pull over to the side of the road as grief had overcome me. It all came pouring out! After 5 minutes or so of uncontrolled sobbing, I looked up in the rear-view mirror. I began to smile. I told myself that it was all over. I was no longer bound by the demands of others when it came to my feelings. I looked up to the sky, made a promise with my God that I would never lock up a feeling or an emotion again and if I have anything to do with it, I would help others to express themselves via feelings and emotions. Little did I know at the time the path that my Lord sent me on ...
After graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and Business, I embarked on a ten year career with USAir, Inc in Customer Service Management. During that time, I wed to "the girl next door" from Greensboro, NC. Upon reaching an economic pinnacle in that industry, I left to purse more entrepreneurial endeavors. I started a Landscape company in 2000 and did extremely well financially during the expansion phase of the US economy. My company topped at $1.5M in revenues in 2005 with 24 employees and $750,000 worth of Capital Equipment. Unfortunately, I didn't see the "Great Recession" and US economic collapse coming.
In eight short months, my growing empire which was going to be my life plan and retirement security, was gone! I couldn't believe what had happened! To make matters worse, the marriage that I had where we adopted two small children was over. Life went spinning out of control. At my lowest and darkest hours, I actually became homeless, sleeping in my last truck at a storage facility in Orange Park, Florida and washing each morning at the hose bib. I would go down to the local coffee shop and do what I could to stay alive without begging for money. I refused to do that.
I then had a miracle happen! I found the opportunity that I could be proud of. It had an amazing product and opportunity. I had no idea how to grow a Networking business. I just knew that it was a product that everyone would love and it had tremendous potential. I joined up right away! Now, I didn't know what to do. Thank goodness there were tremendous leaders who saw the potential in me and assisted me. Thank goodness that the company had a phenomenal training and support system. I struggled at first, but quickly got the hang of it. That was in 2009 ... and now my life will never be the same! I get to share with other's my story and see if what I do and have can be a solution for them!
He asks the simple question:
... "In retirement, will you be able to maintain your current standard of living?"
An Interesting question for many, for sure!
If the answer is "No" or I'm not sure", then I might have a solution for you or someone you may know. I help people who wish to add to their retirement plans extra income and/or reduce their debts without changing anything they are currently doing. Would an extra $200, $500, $1,000 per month make a big difference to your retirement or your accounts payable when you are going to need it later on? The power of compounding can work for you or against you. It's that simple!
Today, I have been in the fields of Prospecting, Recruiting and building successful organizations for years. I have accumulated a tremendous amount of experience and knows the profession. Combining the power of Social Media with that of various business models, I have created an endless stream of prospects for Customer and Business plans for many of those whom I have worked with.
My training focuses on the fundamentals of Social Media combined with the power of Networking and Marketing. My teaching style is simple, direct and "strait to the point". I have helped Networker's become successful on Social Media when others haven't.
Along this amazing journey, I've learned how lucky I am and how important it is to live in a state of Gratitude and Grace. I've also learned how important it is to "give back" to this world that has blessed me so much. You may remember from reading earlier that I am a graduate of Penn State. I love my university and what we stand for. I am saddened by what happened to our Football program and University in 2012. As a committed Alumni who is focused on the future and leading a charge against Child Abuse and Exploitation, I am proud to support the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and have made it my Primary foundation for giving back.
